Cycle of Suffering

01/17/2025
Body yields,
Mind rests at ease,
Each moment with awareness,
and at last peace.

Tiny snow flakes fly with the wind,
Buildings go adrift with haze,
Frozen river rests at gaze,
All in perfect harmony and amaze

A sage meditates on law of impermanance,
His mind astray, seeks that which is lost,
His body aching for rest at any cost,
But alas, nature gives him only cold frost.

Saddened and heartbroken,
He sits alone, causing harm to none,
He awaits the day his headache is shunned
so that he can go back accompany everyone.

Beds of white covered snow,
Leafless trees with majestic arms,
Seeker and sought -- only a thought.
